Welcome to Gorgonia Diving

Welcome to Gorgonia Diving, the first choice for fun, professional diving holidays in Croatia. We are a recognised SSI and BSAC diving centre and provide expert diving holidays in a superb Mediterranean destination, for every level of diver and non-diver. The dive centre is positioned in the beautiful island town of Vela Luka, Korcula Island, South Croatia and has fantastic views of the bay and the harbour. The diving in and around Vela Luka is known for its variety of flora and fauna, and its amazing underwater rock formations. With huge walls full of red and yellow gorgonias; soft sponges and corals, combined with great variety of marine life, make for very interesting and exciting diving. We also have many amazing cave and canyon dives available, with the very popular "Blue Hole" being a favourite of all our divers.

Accommodation

Apart-Hotel Vala:
Aparthotel Vala is the home of Gorgonia Diving Centre and is positioned on the edge of Vela Luka, with fantastic panoramic views of the harbour and out into the bay. It has 10 apartments and 3 rooms, with half board and Bed & Breakfast being available. There is Internet access and all rooms and apartments have Satellite Tv and Air Conditioning. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel which too has beautiful views of the bay of Vela Luka and is positioned just 10 meters from the sea!

Korcula Island

Korcula island is famous for its ancient town, Korcula, commonly called "little Dubrovnik", and the home of Marko Polo. The town is enclosed by medieval towers and walls showing its importance throughout the ages.

Vela Luka is positioned on the western side on Korcula Island in the Dubrovnik county of Croatia. It is the second largest island town among the Adriatic islands. The hills of the surrounding bays are covered in olive tress, vineyards, and pines which give the area a very green appearance when compared with the rest of the Mediterranean. Vela Luka still has its old charm with historical sword fighting displays and boasts several excellent restaurants and bars.
