Also known as EANx (Enriched Air Nitrox), Nitrox is a mixture of air and oxygen, which contains more then 21%. By increasing the oxygen content in the air we breathe, we decrease the amount of nitrogen we breathe. This lowers the risks of decompression illness and increases the amount of time we can stay underwater.
On the course you will learn how to plan for a nitrox dive, calculate the correct mixture of EANx you will need and then you will learn how to analyse the mixture before the dive. You will also learn the benefits and the dangers we experience while diving Nitrox.
