 The
SSI Advanced Open Water course is truly an ‘advanced’ course, unlike
other courses by the same name. On this course you must complete 4 full
speciality courses: Deep Diving, Night Diving, Navigation Diving and NITROX Diving.
The
course takes between 4 and 5 days to complete and usually between 8 and
10 dives. You will need a minimum of 24 dives to complete the course.
Deep Diving:
You will learn to dive to the absolute maximum diving depth of 40m,
using specialised diving techniques and equipment, dive planning,
diving gas calculations etc….
Night/Limited Visibility Diving:
You will learn how fun night diving can be when done safely. You’ll see
the different species and the different behaviours of marine life,
which comes out at night….
Navigation Diving:
On this course you will see how the pro’s find their way around
underwater. Learning how to use natural and compass navigation makes
all the difference for fun, safe diving….
NITROX Diving:
Nitrox is a mixture of breathing gas containing more then 21% oxygen.
With proper training it is widely recognised as the safest form of
diving, while increasing your dive time…
